This evolution was exemplified as the old warehouse transformed into a contemporary center of auction excellence, reflecting their resolute commitment to progress. Concurrently, our payment and delivery policy elaborates on the processes and choices for finalizing payments and acquiring purchased items.

The cost associated with a specific item is denoted by the hammer price, signifying the price when the auctioneer's hammer falls. Beyond this, there's an additional 15% buyer's premium (a percentage of the final hammer price) and applicable value-added taxes. A personalized invoice will be provided to each buyer, reflecting the name and address specified in their registration form. This invoice will comprehensively outline all purchased items along with their respective costs. For a comprehensive guide on payment, refer to the information on the reverse side of each bidder card. Our attentive staff is more than willing to offer further clarifications should you require them.

Picking up your Items

Payment for your selected item(s) can be completed at the cashier's desk at any juncture during the auction. Upon payment, you are free to collect and take your item home with you. Upon purchase at a First Guaranty Credit Corp auction, the responsibility for the item transfers to you, including its removal from the auction premises. If your residence falls outside our 50-km radius driving policy, you might need to arrange for a moving service. For those residing within a 50-km radius of the auction site, First Guaranty Credit Corp offers a convenient delivery option. Your merchandise can be delivered for a fixed fee of $300. In unique cases, we also extend this delivery service beyond the 50-km radius, albeit for a fee of $500. It's important to note that these rates may vary based on distance and specific circumstances. In certain exceptional scenarios, First Guaranty Credit Corp can facilitate international shipping through specialized arrangements for storage and customs clearance. Given the distinctive terms associated with such shipments, they will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Agreement between both parties will be sought once dispatch instructions and comprehensive payments, inclusive of shipping expenses, are received.
